2025 F1 World Championship

The 2025 Formula 1 season looks set to produce a fierce title fight, but who will be challenging for the championship? Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are nailed-on contenders after taking three of the first four grand prix victories of the year, but don’t discount Max Verstappen — he won the Japanese Grand Prix, and is trailing the McLaren pair closely.

Others can hope to bridge the gap too: Lewis Hamilton has shown that he can win in the Chinese GP sprint race, while others are amassing points race after race: George Russell has been on the podium for three out of the last four grands prix.

Behind them, we look to be seeing a resurgence in form at Williams and Racing Bulls; the emergence of impressive talent among the F1 rookies; and continuing struggles at Red Bull to find a team-mate who can match Verstappen.

The scene is set for a thrilling, unpredictable season, which looks to have all the ingredients of a true classic.
